Founded :

Bilal Islamic Assembly of Calgary was founded in 2024 with the aim of providing authentic Islamic education and a welcoming space for worship, learning, and community growth. What began as a small gathering of dedicated believers has now grown into a vibrant center offering Qur’an classes, Islamic studies, youth programs, and community services both in-person and online.

From its foundation, Bilal Calgary has remained committed to preserving the Qur’an and Sunnah, strengthening faith, and serving the diverse Muslim community across Calgary and beyond.

Many of our teachers are certified from renowned Islamic institutions in Saudi Arabia, bringing authentic knowledge and deep expertise in Qur’an, Tajweed, Hifz, and Islamic studies
